Travel Cancellation Policy
 

This policy explains how cancellations are handled for Hajj and Umrah travel bookings with LICARS (London Islamic Culture and Recreation Society).

Cancellation Request

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing, clearly stating the reason for cancellation. The request must be signed and dated by the applicant.
 

Cancellation Charges

Cancellation charges are applied based on the number of days remaining before the scheduled departure date:

• From the date of booking up to 90 days before departure: 10% of the total package price
• 60 to 89 days before departure: 30% of the total package price
• 30 to 59 days before departure: 50% of the total package price
• 0 to 29 days before departure: 95% of the total package price
   

Important Notes

• Once the Hajj visa has been issued, 90% of the total package cost becomes non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
• Cancellation charges will be deducted from any payments already made by the applicant.
• Any remaining eligible balance (if applicable) will be refunded in accordance with our internal refund procedures.
• Certain non-recoverable costs may also be deducted where applicable.

We strongly advise all applicants to ensure they have adequate travel insurance and to consider cancellation conditions carefully before making a booking.
